Journalism
James Riding is an award-winning journalist. He is currently living markets editor at Inside Housing.
He regularly reviews books for The Times and has made several appearances on national radio and podcasts.
James has contributed essays, interviews and book reviews to The Fence, Prospect, Unherd, Literary Review, The London Magazine and more.
He is a Press Awards 30 Under 30 winner for 2024 and won Feature Journalist of the Year at the IBP Awards the same year. He won Scoop of the Year at the IBP Awards in 2025.
He read English at Magdalen College, Oxford and has an MA in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London.
