James Riding is an award-winning journalist. He is currently chief reporter at Inside Housing.
He regularly reviews books for The Times and has made several appearances on national radio and podcasts.
James has contributed essays, interviews and book reviews to Prospect, Unherd, Literary Review, The London Magazine and more.
He is a Press Awards 30 Under 30 winner for 2024 and won Feature Journalist of the Year at the IBP Awards the same year.
He read English at Magdalen College, Oxford and has an MA in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London.
